Binding Styles
Straight Cut Binding
A two-edge turned binding that is more economical and typically has fewer seams. Best suited for straighter runs and applications where flexibility around curves is not as important.
Bias Cut Binding
Cut diagonally across the fabric, making it more flexible and easier to work around curves, corners, and shaped edges. A better choice for rounded marine canvas applications such as Biminis, enclosures, and other contoured trim work. Because of the cutting method, bias binding will typically have more seams than straight cut binding.
